who we are
At it’s core, the Julieta and Rita Foundation is a family endeavor. Founded by two siblings Lynda and Joshua, the foundation was named after their grandmothers- two incredibly strong women who in their own humble way demonstrated that communities are made; that they are not bound by familial ties, and that they can be created anywhere.
what we believe
Our mission is to reframe mental illness and its treatment as a social issue, rather than relying solely on medical models. we will utilize prevention framework of care that assist those in need of social services such as housing, and food.
Our efforts are targeted around local population in California, Escuintla Guatemala

Food justice is an important part of community justice. We take donations from local businesses and use them to fight hunger. Help us connect with donors and with people in need.
